Orishas are a group of spirits originating in Yorubaland that work under the watchful eye of Olodumare, their creator. Olodumare has domain over them as well as the Seven African Powers in which are invoked in many different religions and magical systems including Lucumi, Vodou, Santeria, Candomble, folk Catholicism etc!

•Eshu Elegbara (Papa Legba)

* Messenger between worlds, guardian of the crossroads, guide for the dead.

•Ogun

* Iron Orisha. Rules over metal working and any kind of Alchemy, Shaman / healer that watches over children & families.

•Obatala

* Spirit of Healing & Peace, creator of imperfections on human body, Gentle & Patient, rules over matters of justice.

•Yemaya

* Presides over oceans, Sister of Oshun, Protects motherhood as well as female sexuality, Protects abused & neglected women, children & travelers Over the sea

•Oshun

* Orisha of Rivers. Domains over all things that flow: water, love, milk, honey etc.

•Shango

* Lord of Thunder & Fire. Fertile male God intimate with Oba, Oshun, & Oya. Brings justice via lightning & protects his followers from evil. Loves Music, Women, & Fun.

•Oya

* Domains over Niger River, fertility, secrets, shapeshifting, spirits, cemeteries, etc.
